News Information

Cold wave conditions accompanied by snow fall has forced the state government to declare holidays in schools. Earlier the government had decided that classes in the senior section of the schools would be held even during winters as schools got disturbed for five months due to violence in the valley. Middle schools, however, have been closed earlier for the winter vacations keeping the cold conditions in mind. State education minister Peerjada Mohammed Sayed said that though the schools have been closed, the employees have been asked not to leave stations without permission.
